The Role

  • Design, develop, and deploy critical features across frontend, backend, infra. You'll take on many projects over the summer. Examples:
    • Longitudinal client simulation for AI system evaluation
    • Building + designing a user referral mechanism
    • Type safe encryption
  • Talk to users, synthesize insights, and make fast-but-grounded decisions on what to prioritize
  • Have massive ownership and agency from day one
  • Learn a lot – about building things people love, about entrepreneurship, and about yourself

About You

  • You love building and are very strongly considering starting a startup someday
  • You write quality code, fast; you use AI tools like Cursor, Windsurf, and/or Claude Code aggressively
  • You can take vague ideas like 'incorporate info about user relationships (e.g. friends) to the memory system' and figure out how to make it happen
  • You're very familiar with React Native or React
  • You've built apps with LLMs inside
  • You're broadly curious and learn quickly
  • You care about mental health and human flourishing

Logistics
